Event Details

A World Cafe brings people together to create dialogue around a theme. It gives you a chance to contribute your ideas about that theme and to learn the perspectives of others. A successful world cafe event creates new ideas and inspires creative solutions. It will connect you with like minded passionate people.

Theme: Animal Leadership for NZ's Future

Last year's World Cafe during leadership week talked about how we could take a global focus to think about local problems. This year we challenge you to think differently about what kinds of leadership is required to make shifts in our society. What can we learn from places that we wouldn't think to look? What happens if we look to the animal kingdom to think about our leadership differently?

What is World Cafe and why would you want to come?

The World Cafe is an innovative yet simple methodology for hosting conversations about questions that matter. These conversations link and build on each other as people move between groups, cross-pollinate ideas, and discover new insights into the questions or issues that are most important in their life, work, or community.
